Software RNG testing takes place in 3 main steps, which include examining and compiling the source code to evaluate the RNG algorithms and their implementation, subjecting the generated numbers to inflexible and other statistical tests, and finally generating a scaled output and applying a chi-square. and other tests.

The hardware RNG is tested based on specific requirements to make sure there are no weak points, all this happens during the first stage of testing.
